Digital X-ray
Your Invisalign process begins with taking digital X-rays and molded impressions to create your clear aligner trays. Our special Invisalign software can show you how your teeth will change during the progression of your treatment. We can even show you what the final results will look like to help you know what to expect.
We also map out how long you will need to wear your Invisalign aligners. Most candidates can expect to wear them for a year, depending on their specific needs.
Your first set of aligners
Once we receive your first set of aligners, you come in to ensure a custom fit. It may take a few days to get used to wearing them, but after 2-3 days, you should adapt easily. Soon, you will almost forget you are wearing them.
Trading out your aligners
Your plan involves trading out your old set of aligners for new trays every few weeks. If you wear them as recommended for 20-22 hours a day — only removing them for eating meals, brushing your teeth, flossing, and cleaning your aligners — your plan should stay on track.
